In 1982, it was the era of Taiwan"s economic miracle. People worked very hard to earn, but their health was neglected. No matter whether the food was consumed by themselves or by children, some merchants in the market added a lot of chemical pigments and fruit waxes on the fruits. The merchants even harvested and sold fruit that had been polluted with pesticides, making the fruit unsafe for consumption. The founder of BIOES saw the dangerous situation in Taiwan and decided to commit to providing a healthy business for the public. In order to help people to eat 100% safe products, BIOES only sells healthy products and strictly controls the quality of food safety. By chance, the founder of BIOES met a South African entrepreneur. Both of them shared the same philosophy. They both wanted to strictly control the quality strictly to help improve the health of the people, manufacture 100% safe products, and never stop pursuing high quality. BIOES was named CERES at an earlier time. At that time, as there were factory certification restrictions, and in order to make better products, the BIOES factory was established. After overcoming various difficulties, BIOES finally obtained the HACCP certification -012. The BIOES plant was the first juice factory in the world to achieve HACCP certification at that time. In order to ensure everyone would be able to drink the most natural, healthiest, and safest juice, the company was renamed as BIOES.

 

The hometown of BIOES juice is in the Republic of South Africa. It is a country full of sunshine and enormous fruit production. BIOES constantly monitors the growth of all its fruit, from the initial production process to the final packaging process. BIOES regularly conducts employee trainings, verifies efficient and systematic management of warehouses, and processes efficient shipping.

 

All BIOES juices are non-genetically modified fruits. No pesticides are sprayed during the growth of the fruit trees. The cultivation method used to control pests and diseases is biotechnology (ladybugs). In the process of juice pressing, no water, sugar, or artificial additives are added to the juice. It is not a concentrated juice.

 

BIOES juice is directly pressed from the whole fruit and is packaged in a low-temperature vacuum sealed and sterilized package to preserve the nutrition of the whole fruit. BIOES juice has passed the HACCP test, which is the world"s most stringent quality control standard. The certificate number is 012. It does not contain plasticizer and can be safely consumed.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Health and Welfare on December 15, 1995, the Department of Health, No. 0950409027, commercially packaged juices and vegetable juice beverages should be clearly marked with the original juice content rate in accordance with CNS 2377 "Fruit and Vegetable Juice Drinks (packaged)" national standards. The standard object is a packaged juice and vegetable juice beverage with a raw juice content of 100% or less. If the product is to be declared as a juice or fruit beverage, it should conform to the definition of CNS2377 and indicate the raw juice content rate according to the regulations of the Department of Health.

You can also make concentrated juice on your own. You can make almost any flavor of juice by adding chemical flavors and food coloring. For example, if you want to make orange juice, you just need to add methylcellulose, citric acid, and sugar into the water in sequence and mix them well. Finally, add orange essence (oil) and “cloud agent” to combine all the ingredients and to avoid having the oil and water separated. In the end, you will have a glass of artificial juice that smells and tastes the same as pure orange juice.

 

There are many unscrupulous companies out there that make poor quality juice. Even the father of food additives in Japan cannot accept this situation. Some of the manufacturers even produce their juices without adding a drop of real juice. They are only selling chemical juice.

 

Some products on the market are advertised as "100% XX juice" or "100% pure juice.” However, when you look at the ingredients, you will find it is almost always "xx concentrated juice.” These are all juices diluted with concentrated juice and water.

 

Most of the concentrated and reduced juices are made by boiling, leading to the loss of nutrients. Therefore, the following situations may occur in the production of concentrated reduced juice:

 

1 Raw material: In order to chase low cost, manufacturers will purchase a large amount of fruit and process them in a particular season. Therefore, they do not have high requirements for the freshness of the fruit.

 

2. When they need to make juices for sale, they will add water to dilute the concentrated juice. Therefore, the nutrients will be lost.

 

3. Both the juice are marked as “100% raw juice.” However, the cost difference is largely based on the freshness of the fruits.

 

Some other juice manufacturers will add 10-30% authentic fruit juice to the concentrated juice, and then add "saccharin" to make the juice sweeter. However, the juice may contain higher calories, and the high sugar content can be harmful to the teeth. The juice also contains very few vitamins and crude fiber.
